Dr Gwyn Pritchard qualified at Manchester Dental School in 1987.
- Gwyn joined the practice in January 1988.
During his first year Gwyn took part in the "Vocational training
Scheme" which was being developed to provide a transition from dental

mandatory part of the professional development of a dentist. Gwyn produced
a project which was awarded "The Greer Walker Prize" for project work
undertaken by a general dental practitioner. The project was about
"Porcelain veneers placed in General Dental Practice". A summary of the work
was subsequently published in the "British Dental Journal".
Since qualification he has studied extensively into the way teeth meet (occlusion) and its relevance in advanced restorative
dentistry.
- He successfully passed the Diploma in General Dental Practice (DGDP(UK)) at the Royal College of Surgeons in
London in November 1995.
- Gwyn has a particular interest in advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
- Gwyn has been complementing his practice commitments with a clinical
assistantship, for one morning a week, at the Oral Surgery department of Tameside General Hospital in Ashton under Lyne.
